James Henry Hardin, age 93 of Auburn, died Friday, December 16, 2022 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at 11am at Crafton Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery with military rites conducted by the Simpson County honor Guard. Visitation will be from 4pm until 8pm Tuesday and after 6am Wednesday at Crafton Funeral Home. A native of Logan County, he was the son of the late Millard Hardin and Mamie Overstreet Hardin.

Mr. Hardin was a Navy Veteran serving in the Korean war from 1948 until 1953. He was a member of Bethel Church of Christ and attended Locust Grove Church of Christ. Preceding him in death was his wife – Mildred Hardin, his son – Dennis Hardin and 2 sisters – Ruby Travelstead and Mary Hibdon. Survivors include his children – Marie Haeberle of Auburn and Marsha Cash of Franklin; 6 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
